What happens next
We read it, check the three rooms, and reply with what is free and what it costs. If the dates are gone we will tell you the nearest ones that are not.
Nothing is charged at this point. Payment happens on arrival, or by transfer if you would rather sort it in advance.
Arrival
Check in from three in the afternoon, check out by eleven. Both are flexible if the room either side of you is empty, and we will usually know by the day before.
When to come
April to June for wildflowers and long walks. September and October for the best light on the faces. November for the olive harvest. January if you want the valley silent and the stove lit.
July and August are warm, busy in the village, and still cool up here at night.
The practical part.
Send the dates on WhatsApp or through the form on this page. We reply with what is free and a total. Nothing is held until you confirm, and we do not take a deposit for stays of two nights or fewer.
Free up to seven days before arrival. Inside seven days we ask for one night if we cannot fill the room. If the mountain road is closed by snow, everything is refundable, no argument.
Two nights on weekends and public holidays. One night midweek if the room is free.
Cash in Lebanese pounds or US dollars on arrival, or bank transfer in advance. Card payment is coming and is not here yet.
Yes, in Gemelli, with a note when you book. Not in the other two, and not left alone in the room.
No. We host families and married couples; unmarried couples travelling together are not accepted.
